In presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council (HEC) Board of Trustees, The College of Communication and Media Technology at Gulf University is pleased to announce the 5th International Conference on Digital Media, Artificial Intelligence Technologies, and Metaverse (DMAITM 2026), set to take place on 28th & 29th April 2026, Kingdom of Bahrain (Hybrid Mode). The DMAITM 2026 provides a leading forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of Digital Media, Artificial Intelligence Technologies, and Metaverse. The Conference will bring together leading researchers in the domain of interest from around the world. The theme of the 5th International Conference on Digital Media, Artificial Intelligence Technologies, and Metaverse (DMAITM 2026) highlights the growing impact of AI-driven personalization, big data analytics, virtual reality, and immersive environments on modern media industries. These technologies are playing a central role in enhancing content quality, improving audience engagement, and supporting innovation and entrepreneurship in communication and digital media sectors. The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate and discuss their current findings, and to explore recent developments, emerging practices, and future trends in digital media, artificial intelligence, and metaverse technologies. The conference is participated by educators, researchers, and policymakers with the aim to share practices, studies, insights, and experiences on developing technology as it applies to 21st-century learning.
Papers accepted for ICANASSF 2025 after the double-blind peer-review process will be published in the conference book/ proceedings, which is published by Spronger and indexed by Scopus, Google Scholar, and SpringerLink. Selected papers will also be published as chapters in an Emerald‐indexed book (Scopus-indexed).
Additionally, selected papers that have been presented at the conference will also be considered for further development for possible publication in the highly esteemed partner journals listed below. Note that journal editors are provided with the conference proceedings and will make selections if they feel the work is appropriate and of sufficient quality for their journal.
If invited to publish in a journal, authors will be expected to develop the work by 40–50%, including a change of title and abstract. Individual journal procedures will need to be followed, and there is no guarantee of publication.
