All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and comprehensive research-integrity screening to uphold high standards of academic quality, originality, and ethical scholarship.
Double-blind peer review: Author and reviewer identities remain anonymous throughout the review process. Submissions are assessed for originality, methodological rigor, clarity, scholarly contribution, and relevance to the conference themes.
Independent expert evaluation: Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts to address reviewers’ comments before a final acceptance decision.
Conflict-of-interest screening: Reviewers are selected carefully to avoid actual or potential conflicts of interest and ensure fair, impartial evaluation.
Compliance with Springer requirements: Papers accepted for submission to Springer must meet the publisher’s applicable formatting, ethical, and publication requirements.
Similarity screening: All submissions are screened using professional plagiarism-detection software. The overall similarity index must be below 20%, excluding references and properly quoted material. Meeting this threshold does not, by itself, establish originality; identified overlaps are also assessed in context.
Responsible use of artificial intelligence: AI tools must not replace authors’ original scholarly contributions or be used to fabricate data, analyses, images, references, or conclusions. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their manuscripts and must disclose AI use where required by the applicable publication policy. Excessive reliance on AI-generated content or evidence of unethical AI use may result in rejection without external review.
Research-integrity checks: Additional screening examines potential plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, image manipulation, paper-mill activity, citation manipulation, and other forms of academic misconduct.
Only manuscripts that successfully complete peer review, address all required revisions, and satisfy the applicable ethical and research-integrity requirements will be considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings. Conference acceptance does not guarantee publication; final inclusion remains subject to the publisher’s assessment and approval.
